Silly Americans and their rules. I'm 20 years old and the thought of not being able to by alcohol is pretty crazy.

See it's different here, the fact that they block kids from alcohol for so long makes it even worse. It makes kids want to go nuts when they get their hands on it and OVER drink. So when they finally get alcohol they can't handle it. It's too worked into society now, if they lowered the drinking age ever kids would go nuts and we'd have car crashes, alcohol poisoning, etc. I'm not speaking on EVERYONE obviously, but that's the situation unfortunately.

Alcohol will always be a problem, no matter the age limit, kids can get it anytime.
I was drinking when i was 16 till now im 21
I can now drink legally her in Canada(have to be 19)
I dont drink as hard or as much due to my responsibilties, but i have got stupid drunk many times.
My older bro was killed from underage drinking (they were all drunk at a party and the driver was kicked out and my bro went with, he crashed the car and my bro was the only one killed out of 4 of them, I hate alcohol because it causes alot of pain but at the same time i love it

Ahh I'm sorry to hear about your loss man. I totally feel where you are coming from losing loved ones myself.

Yeah man, I mean, I was drinking since I was 15 maybe 14 and pretty damn hard. So, it's not like I'm talking down on anyone. It's always going to happen and it's like you said, kids will ALWAYS get alcohol if they really want it.

Some people argue that if the kids are able to start drinking earlier, it will calm them down and they won't be so excited to push themselves past their limits. Maybe there is truth to that, maybe there isn't. Personally, at the way it stands, I don't want these kids getting permission to buy as much as they want and drink as much as they want legally. You already got nuts on the highway, I don't want to throw these crazy ass kids in the mix.

It's like I said though, we all been through it though. I'm not saying I never was drinking all night at a party or something and then hit the road. I just think looking back on it now that I'm older I can see how crazy it can be.
